LONDON RIOT 2011

OMOLOLA'S REPORT:
The report of Omolola was based on research from the Independent and she stated that young people were mostly involved in the riot.

TUMI'S REPORT:
Tumi's research was definitely the most versitile and detailed in context, with references gotten from the Guardian and BBC news on 8th August, 2011 he stated clearly the onus of death one Mark Duggan a 29 years old man who was allegedly shot by the police on Tottenham Hale Tube station, which resulted to many controversies and he also stated that Tottenham Hale has a high level of child poverty and poverty rate. The aftermath of the his shooting where eventually lead to riot in London and lead to the arrest of three hundred and thirty three people remanded in police custody.

ABDULAZIZ'S REPORT:
By a research gotten from a source named Mabinogog@blogspot.com he stated that slavery culture and the lifestyle the citizen choose to follow like becoming a celebrated stars at all cost and the unemployment tension. He also made references from Richard Sudan of the Independent Newspaper and Mike Butcher highlighting the negetive attitudes of police.

HENRY'S REPORT:
Going by his research and powerpoint presentation on the above subject, on 4th of August, 2011, Mark Duggan was shot and gave out questions of uncertainty surrounding the gruesome murder of the police without evidence. He surrounded the classs with some controversial questions, namely:
1.   If Duggan Morgan was Gangster?
2.  Was he armed at the time of his shooting?
3.  Did he shoot back at the police first.

He later went ahead to present the class with pictures of riots and a video from youtube.

RAPHEL'S REPORT:
Based on research from CNN and Skynews, he gave the cause of the riot such as poor relation with the police, social exclusion, crime culture and opportunism and he also highlighted the solution for future occurance like special forces to contain riots, creation of more opportunities for youths and regulations of video games.

EZEKIEL'S REPORT:
Based on research from the Guardian.co.uk, 8th August, 2011 stated that whether Mark Duggan was a criminal or drugdealer maybe a family man who would never seek confrontation with the police and he further stated reports gotten from the wife of Mark Duggan that Mr. Duggan had series of police arrest but has never been convicted of any crimes.

MY OPINION
In my own conclusion, The riot came from the family for a push for justice against the police leading to support from people with past experience, it is necessary to keep the society safe. Note the police who shot Mark Duggan was never stated for security reasons whatsoever. Duggan was never convicted of any crimes in the past. The misuse officer's uniforms should always come to play, for a safe and peaceful society.

A NEW GOVERNMENT

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF EUROPEAN UNION

HISTORY ON EUROPEAN UNION
The EUROPEAN UNION (EU) is a political organization of 27 independent member’s states which are located in Europe. It originated in 1958 from the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) and the European Economic Community (EEC), formed by six countries in 1958. In the intervening period, the EU has expanded in size by the accession of new member states. The Maastricht Treaty as it known was established in 1993 by the European Union under its current name in 1993. The last amendment to the constitution of the basis of the EU, the TREATY OF LISBON, came into force in 2009.

The EU has a single market through a standard system of laws which apply in all member states. Within the Schengen Area (which includes EU and non-EU states) passport controls was abolished. EU policies aim to ensure the free movement of people, goods, services, capital and make laws and common policies on trade. The monetary union known as the “EUROZONEwas established in 1999 and is currently composed of 17 member states.

THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES
Trade and everything else should operate more effectively and efficiently with the Euro. Single currency in a single market seems to be the way forward but major disadvantages of the EU, households sometimes find it difficult to correctly compare the prices of goods, services and resources across the EU because of the resulting effects of exchangeable rates.
This discourages trade. According to economic theory, prices should act as a mechanism to allocate resources in an optimal way, so as to improve economic efficiency. There is a far greater chance of this happening across an area where E.M.U exists.
There is also a political agenda to European bank (the European System of Central Banks -ESCB), the complete removal of national control over monetary policy and the partial removal of control over fiscal policy. Individual nation states will lose sovereignty (i.e. the ability to control their own affairs). It will be a considerable step down the road towards political union. There are many in the EU who favours economical and political union and they are very much in the EMU. There are also many who wish to keep national sovereignty and are struggling to prevent EMU, whatever its merits might be, from going ahead.
The difference in rate of growth, economic foundation, economic management and system are real disadvantages. It will cost the EU more money as subsidy. This money is collected from the old members. But the benefit of peaceful Europe and trade creation is more than the cost.
